About YWC
The Yoga Wellness Center strives to provide an environment where people can experience the phenomenon that is Yoga. At YWC, prospective Yogis and Yoginis have the chance to regularly practice and learn yoga under the guidance of a certified Yoga expert. Aspirants are exposed to a personalised version of yoga that is especially tailored to suit their individual needs.

We are accredited YOGA TRAINING CENTRE under YOGA CERTIFICATION BOARD, Ministry of AYUSH, Government of India, and a recognised yoga study centre of KARNATAKA SAMSKRIT UNIVERSITY, Govt. of Karnataka. We share a deep commitment to both practice and teaching of yoga. Our comprehensive approach allows each student to get a well-rounded idea about yoga, enabling them to practice it independently in the future. Yoga Wellness Center is unique in following spirituality and tradition of yoga in a contemporary manner which gives fresh and dynamic feel for this modern day.

Resources and Classes

The YWC has been specially designed to meet every need and requirement of the modern yoga aspirant. It offers everything from yoga classes designed for the young and the old, to classes for the expecting mother. Classes are allotted to aspirants based on an interview that serves to judge the best yoga practices for the individual, and the best way to carry it out. Following the initiation of the classes, yoga aspirants are counselled to ensure that they receive the best that Yoga can offer them.

In addition to the courses taught at the center, separate Saturday Mahamritunjaya Havan gatherings, Workshops and Retreats and Yoga Trips are available, to provide a truly wholesome experience in yoga.

Establishment
​
The Yoga Wellness Center (YWC), Bangalore, was established by the brothers Raj Kamal (Atmamukhi), and Chandra Kamal (Devatma) with the blessings of Swami Satyasangananda Saraswati in 2012. Swami Satyasangananda Saraswati has named Yoga Centre as “YOGA WELLNESS CENTER”.

Both the Kamal brothers received higher education at the Bihar Yoga Bharti, the world’s first Yoga University, and continued to teach yoga all around Bangalore, for the last 15 years. They are both fully trained yoga masters, who are adept and knowledgeable teachers in yoga.
WHO WE ARE
Devatma,
Founder and Master Yoga Teacher at YWC
Devatma started practicing Yoga at the age of 15, when he learnt classical Yoga from his father. Yoga in his early years, inspired Devatma, and resulted in him taking up Yoga as a career, and later devoted a full time study of the subject. He completed his Post Graduation in Applied Yogic Science (2002 - 04) at the Bihar Yoga Bharati, in Munger, which is the world's first Yoga University.

In true Yogic Tradition, he simultaneously followed the spiritual path of Yoga, and found his guru Swami Niranjanananda Saraswati, who gave him the name, Devatma.
He later worked in Atma Darshan Yogashram in Bangalore, as a resident Yoga Teacher (2005- 10).
​
He has conducted workshops and stress management courses for corporate groups such as IBM, Yahoo, Blue Star, Goldman Sachs, Airtel, Software AG, Tandberg, Lucent Tech, Georgetown University (Washington D.C.), The Brearley School (New York City) and Nordson India.
​
Devatma is a fully qualified Yoga teacher, and trained in all the Yogic disciplines. He works best with basic and advanced Asanas and Pranayamas, Mudras, Bandhas, yogic cleansing practices, Yoga Nidra and Meditation techniques. He is specialist in Nada Yoga, Chakra Shuddhi and Akasha Dharana.
Raj Kamal,
Founder & Master Yoga Teacher at YWC
Raj Kamal has always had a keen interest in Yoga and spiritual life style, even as a child. His first lesson in Yoga was taught to him by his father. And in later years, he received spiritual guidance from his family guru, Udaynarayana Singh. He underwent a series of spiritual experiences during this period and finally, under the instruction of his guru, joined the Bihar Yoga Bharati as a Post Graduate student of Applied Yogic Science (2002- 2004).
​
After his Post Graduation, he joined Ayurdhama, an ayurvedic resort run by the M. S. Ramaya Group, as Yogacharya. He had since conducted Yoga therapy and teacher training courses for four years, at the resort.
​
Later, he worked as a freelance Yoga teacher, and conducted workshops and stress management courses for several corporate groups. He also conducted classes at private sessions in apartments and homes.
​
He is a fully qualified teacher in the life science of Yoga, and is specialized in Pranayama, Chakra Sadhana and Prana Vidya.
