Throughout the year, the Bihar School of Yoga ashrams in Munger and Rikhia organise retreats, advanced courses and spiritual events for yoga aspirants.

The enriching and transformational programs at the ashrams, provide yoga aspirants and practitioners with the unique chance of experiencing first hand yogic lifestyle, and the opportunity of finding greater depth and understanding in yoga.

The YWC offers Yoga aspirants and practitioners, the chance to experience this thorough our Yoga Trips. The trip itself is a week long, and packed with various activities. Interested aspirants will notified about the scheduled trip 3 months in advance. Bookings are usually conducted group wise, but aspirants may also independently arrive at the ashram, and join YWC group there.

Food and Accommodation at the Ashram

Food is purely vegetarian. Appropriate accommodation at both, the ashram as well as in hotels nearby, are available. Rooms are shared, if accommodation at the ashram is chosen.

PranaVidya Course

The PranaVidyacourse will be conducted from the. PranaVidya is primarily an advanced Tantric Meditative session. The main purpose for the course is self realization, but PranaVidya, even otherwise, is a powerful healing method.

Sat Chandi Mahayajna / Sita Kalyanam

This event will take place from the 14th to the 17th of December, 2012.

Sat Chandi Mahayajna is Swami Satyananda's gift to humanity. His profound compassion and inspired vision led him to conduct this historic yajna to invoke the blessings and grace of the Cosmic Mother. This ancient tantric worship has been conducted annually since 1995, to bring peace and prosperity to one and all. Renowned pundits from all over Varanasi conduct this yajna,which involvesritualistic Kanya Pooja being performed on the last day to invoke the Devi as a living presence.

Yoga Purnima

This is a five day glorification of the Supreme consciousness, Lord Shiva, and will take place from the 24th to the 28th of December. This is held to honour the birth of Swami SatyanandaSaraswati, which took place on the full moon night(Purnima) of Margasheershok (ninth month of the Hindu calendar), in 1923.

At the event, Pundits conduct MahaMrityunjayaHomam, as well as RudraAbhishek of the DivyaLinga for five days.
